Blackjack Trilux
Blackjack Trilux
The TriLux side bet uses the playerβs first two cards and the dealerβs upcard to form a three-card poker hand, with wins paid for combinations such as straights, flushes, three of a kind, and straight flushes. Paytables are not standardized and vary by casino, with some versions using fixed payouts, others scaled rewards, and certain tables applying additional dealer payout fees.
Because of these variations, the same TriLux bet can offer very different returns depending on the table. In general, the side bet carries a much higher house edge than standard blackjack, and outcomes are entirely random with no strategic influence. While TriLux can add excitement and the chance of a quick payout, it increases volatility and bankroll risk. Overall, TriLux is best treated as an occasional entertainment wager rather than a value-focused bet.
Players begin by placing a regular blackjack wager. If the table allows it, they may also place a TriLux side bet before any cards are dealt.
Once the dealer distributes two cards to the player and reveals one upcard, the TriLux bet is settled right away. If the three cards form a qualifying poker hand, the side bet pays according to the tableβs posted paytable. Losing side bets are collected immediately, and normal blackjack play continues as usual.
There are no additional decisions, redraws, or skill-based inputs involved in the TriLux bet.
